Slab, Suspended Floors & Frames
A concrete slab gives a robust, thermally capable base with simple thresholds. Where roots, slopes or access say otherwise, we use ground screws or piles with insulated suspended floors. Frames are straight and plumb, sheathed for stiffness and wrapped in breathable membranes. We keep service routes inside the warm layer, add noggins where shelves or screens will mount, and leave crisp openings so doors and windows operate smoothly year-round.
Insulation & Acoustics
Year-round use needs proper thermal and acoustic control. We specify continuous insulation to walls, roof and floor, with thermal breaks at junctions and airtightness taken seriously at the vapour layer. For noise, we combine dense linings, resilient layers and sealed penetrations to reduce outside distractions and stop sound leaking to neighbours. Balanced background ventilation keeps air fresh without draughts.
U-values, Soundproofing & Ventilation

We run CAT6/6A via ducts, terminate neatly and label ports. If Wi-Fi is primary, we allow for a point-to-point link or mesh node. Lighting combines low-glare desk/task fittings with warm ambient sources and external path/soffit lights for safe evening access.
Fit-out & Ergonomics
Inside, we line, decorate and finish so it feels like a proper room. Desks and storage are positioned before sockets go in; cable routes are hidden; and wall zones are reinforced for screens and shelving. Flooring is selected for comfort and cleanability.
